The Racecourse Official Accredited Photographer is Alan Wright.

Alan has been a photographer at Wetherby for over 25 years, back before digital images and in the days when ‘film’ still had to be developed.  Alan turns out to every fixture, not just the big days, and he is here in all weathers, and at Wetherby that weather can be brutal!

He also happens to be an absolutely brilliant racing photographer, with a encyclopaedic back catalogue of amazing racing images and a memory to match!  P

We apply RCA guidelines regarding Amateur photography, and non-accredited or amateur photographers, including those with Owners badges, may only access public Racecourse areas. Access to the Parade Ring, Winners’ Enclosure, Pre-Parade Ring and Race Track is prohibited.

Amateur photography with professional-level camera equipment is only allowed for personal use only and by permit, available from the Owners Entrance, Information Point at the Main Turnstile entrance or the Racecourse Office.
