Wetherby’s final meeting of the season took place on Thursday 30th May and it was Ladies’ Day. We would like to thank all the Ladies’ who dressed to impress, they all looked fabulous and withstood the gusty wind and frequent rain showers on the day to enter our Best Dressed Lady Competition which was sponsored by Kendall’s Jewellers of Wetherby.
Over 50 Ladies entered the Best Dressed Competition which gave judges Elaine Lilley and Katie Bateman from Kendall’s a momentous task, as everyone looked simply amazing.
They did however come to a final decision and selected Tracy Howell from Bishop Auckland as the Best Dressed Lady & Hannah Robinson from Guisborough for the Best Hat.
Congratulations to both winners.
Tracy won a fabulous diamond pendant from Kendall’s Jewellers and will now represent Wetherby in Yorkshire’s Best Dressed Lady Competition organised by Go Racing in Yorkshire, which takes place at Doncaster Racecourse on Saturday 26th October. Good Luck Tracy!
