Join our Clerk of the Course and possible a well-known racing personality, at 10am for a Charity Course Walk, supporting Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity, and find out a little more about the work our Groundstaff Team do ahead of every raceday including a visit to our hurdle shed to see first-hand how the hurdles are made.
Join us after the walk to warm up with a cuppa and a behind the scene’s tour of the weighing room.
Whether you or someone you know has been affected by a Brain Tumour or alternatively you’ve just always wanted to walk the course at Wetherby, everyone is welcome! Volunteers from Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity will be here to join in the course walk and have a brew with you all afterward. This is a FREE to attend event however donations to help support Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity and all the work they do will be welcomed.
The track at Wetherby is approximately a 1-and-a-half mile walk around and as the British weather is slightly unpredictable suitable footwear and a warm coat are advised.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join the course walk.
