Following 12mm of rainfall overnight, Clerk of Course Jonjo Sanderson called an inspection of the racecourse for 12noon on Saturday.
The official going is now Soft, Heavy in places and there are a number of areas of standing water.
The forecast is for the possibility of some further light rain on Saturday afternoon, but it is forecast to be dry thereafter, so hopefully we can see an improvement in the condition of the course at noon, and conditions can then be reassessed.

No real improvement in the track on Saturday morning but it is a dry and windy day (some light showers) so in order to give the meeting every chance we are re-inspecting at 7.30am on Sunday morning.

Due to other course abandonments, Wetherbys races will all be 5 minutes later than originally scheduled.
