Racing attracts large audiences both on course and off. National newspapers devote significant space to racing and all of Wetherby’s racing is broadcast live via Racing UK, which together with satellite links to over 9,000 betting shops across the UK and Ireland, provides a potential audience of around 300,000 viewers every race.

Race sponsorship is an extremely cost effective means of building brand awareness and provides an excellent way to involve invited guests to participate in the day’s events. A commercial partnership package includes naming a race or races on the day, high-profile branding positions, advertising within the race programme, racecourse TV and website, and the opportunity to carry out on-course marketing, PR stunts, product launches or displays. You also have the opportunity to bring guests along to enjoy a VIP day out.

We also have opportunities for permanent branding and advertising and on-going commercial arrangements including annual suite rental, Jockey awards and Vehicle sponsorship. Packages include naming a race and a notice within the racecard and unique raceday experiences, such as access to the Parade Ring and Winners’ Enclosure for the trophy presentations and a behind the scenes tour including a visit to the weighing room and commentary box.
