We are delighted to announce that Wetherby’s leading Trainer and Jockey awards for the forthcoming 2018/19 Jump season will be sponsored by Millbry Hill, the UK’s leading independent family-run country store providing Equestrian supplies, pet products, country clothing, footwear and gifts. The company is part of the Armstrong Richardson Group – one of the oldest independent family-run Agricultural and Equestrian businesses in the country, dating back to 1925.
Millbry Hill will be presenting prizes to the Leading Trainer, Jockey and Conditional Jockey at the end of the season which will include vouchers to spend at any of their four stores across North Yorkshire & Cumbria. In the meantime however, we are still to make the presentations to last season’s winners’, Dan Skelton, Richard Johnson and Thomas Dowson. Presentations will take place at our race meetings on either Wednesday 17th October or during the bet365 Charlie Hall Meeting on Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd November.
The final meeting of the 2017/18 season on Friday 6th April was unfortunately abandoned so the final scores for our 2017/18 season Leading Trainer, Jockey and Conditional Jockey were left as standing after the meeting on Thursday 29th March and were as follows:
